Certificate in Education: Inclusive Education for Children with Special Needs

The overall aim of the course is to enable participants to understand how education of children with special educational needs is affected by the development and abilities of the child; the practical approaches a teacher can use in the classroom and the environment (school, home, society) that helps or hinders the inclusion of children with special educational needs in mainstream schools. In addition to understanding how these three aspects are strongly influenced by each other, course participants will also learn that catering to the needs of children with special needs will improve their general teaching skills and practices.
