Educational Research Methods - Quantitative Strand

Educational Research Methods Course (quantitative strand) will introduce CPs to the basic principles and current debates in quantitative research in Education. It will enable CPs to further develop their understanding of the nature of quantitative inquiry as well as engage in some of the processes of designing and conducting quantitative research. The core of the course will identify a range of approaches used in quantitative research and explain their theoretical underpinnings, with specific focus on survey and experimental designs. The course will also develop a broad understanding of the context at the national and international level in which research takes place.
